“My students started reading each other's arguments just to climb the leaderboard. I've never seen this level of engagement in a composition class.”

Do student scores affect their public CalibRank profile?
No. Campus Room debates are fully isolated. Scores and rankings are private to the room and never appear on any public profile or leaderboard.
Do students need to pay for CalibRank accounts?
No. Students sign up for a free CalibRank account. The Campus Room subscription covers all room-level features (instant scoring, 4,000 words, editing, citations) for every member.
How does faculty analytics work?
Faculty see aggregate metrics: class average scores by dimension (clarity, evidence, logic, originality), participation rates, score trends over time, and per-student breakdowns.
Can I use this for graded assignments?
AI scores are designed for feedback, not formal grades. Faculty can use the scores as a supplementary signal alongside traditional assessment. PDF exports provide documentation.
How do I add students to the room?
Upload a CSV of student emails or share the room invite link. Students log in with their university email and are automatically added to the room.
Is there an academic discount?
Yes. Universities and accredited institutions may qualify for discounted Campus plans through our Academic Partner Program. Contact us to learn more.
What happens during semester breaks?
All data is preserved. You can pause the room (deactivate) and reactivate it next semester. All debates, scores, and member history remain intact.
Set up takes 5 minutes. Upload your roster, create a debate topic, and let AI handle the rest.
